From the first video I learned that it is better to make a story and then build the game mechanics over or around it. From the second video I watched I learned about how to make a mechanics villan which is more of a final boss. It showed me how a Mechanic Villan works rather than a Narrative Villan. In the third video I learned that to make a good horror game you can use similar or foreign creatures to scare the player. This also means you have to find something close to the characther themself. In the fourth video I learned about the different types of monsters that can be used in horror games. In the fifth video I learned how to make a game have linear choices which could affect the game later. These game mechanics is very important to a game for every type of game. The monsters may be more for horror but can be applied in different ways. I focused more on horror genres and villans but also choices that are going to be made throughout making a game. The monsters could be seen in games like Silent Hill, and The Evil Within. This is useful so you can go around certain dropping points. It tells you how your game can have a good story that wont leave plotholes.
